Most of us easily associate the word "restaurant" with "restaurant," confirming its French origins. However, few know that the term "restaurant" was first associated with gastronomy in 1765, when a shop opened near the Louvre. Its owner, Mr. Boulanger, used a quote from the Gospel to convince people to visit his shop: "Venite ad me omnes qui gastro laboratis et ego vos restaurabo," carving it on the facade. The original meaning of the word "restaurant"—refreshment, restoration—was linked to the dishes Mr. Boulanger offered, namely consommé—broths that were said to restore strength.
As the Karmell team, we identify with this very meaning of restaurant. We want our guests not only to regain their lost strength through the dishes served at the Karmell Restaurant but also to have a pleasant time. In the kitchen, we use a variety of aromas and natural, fresh ingredients. The perfectly designed and atmospheric interior of the Karmell Restaurant will allow you to fully relax. Our restaurant offers exquisite cuisine and professional, friendly service, ready to meet your expectations. The dishes delight with both their taste and presentation.
We provide professional service and serve delicious Polish and European dishes.
